Henry Olusegun Adeola Samuel (born 19 February 1963), better known as Seal, is a British singer and songwriter. He has sold more than 20 million records worldwide. He is best known for his song "Kiss from a Rose". The worldwide hit was used for the soundtrack of the movie Batman Forever (1995). He has won three Brit Awards, four Grammy Awards and an MTV Video Music Award. He has also won two Ivor Novello Awards for the songs "Killer" and "Crazy". He was a coach on The Voice in Australia for the 2012, 2013 and 2017 seasons.

Seal was born in Paddington, London. His mother is Nigerian and his father is Brazilian. He was married to German model Heidi Klum from 2005 to 2015. They have four children.

Seal has scarring on his face caused by a type of lupus called discoid lupus erythematosus.[1]
