Sergey Ivanov
Sergei Borisovich Ivanov (Russian: Сергей Борисович Иванов; 31 January 1953 – 26 June 2026) was a Soviet and Russian politician who was the Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation on the Issues of Environmental Activities, Environment and Transport from 12 August 2016 until his death. He was the Minister of Defense of Russia from 28 March 2001 to 15 February 2007. From 2008 to 2011, Ivanov was the Deputy Prime Minister. He was also President Vladimir Putin's chief of staff from 2011 to 2016.
Ivanov died on 26 June 2026 at the age of 73.[1]
