Shōmei Yokouchi
Shōmei Yokouchi (横内 正明, Yokouchi Shōmei, 2 March 1942 – 21 April 2020) was a Japanese politician. He represented the Yamanashi Prefecture electoral district and later Yamanashi District No. 3 in the House of Representatives from 1993 until 2002. He was Governor of Yamanashi Prefecture from 2007 until 2015. Yokouchi was born in Nirasaki, Yamanashi.
Yokouchi died on 21 April 2020, aged 78.[1]
