Shambali (Turkish: Şambalı) is a Middle Eastern sweet cake. It is cake made of semolina sweetened with syrup and topped with peanut. Its shape is rectangular.

It is also known in most of the countries which formed the Ottoman Empire. Its name means "Damascus honey" (Turkish: Şam balı) and shambali can also be called Damascus dessert.
