Mark Shepherd (born December 31, 1985) is an American professional wrestler. He currently wrestles for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and for their sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH) under the ring name Shane Taylor. He is the leader of the Shane Taylor Promotions stable.
Taylor has also appeared in National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) and Ring of Honor (before AEW's purchase).
Taylor has been a one-time ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion and a one-time ROH World Television Champion.
Professional wrestling career
[change | change source]All Elite Wrestling
[change | change source]On the January 31, 2023 episode of Dark, Taylor made his debut for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) alongside JD Griffey as part of Shane Taylor Promotions. They defeated the team of Dante Casanova and Mr. G.[1] On the February 28 episode of Dark, Taylor made his singles debut, defeating Adrian Alanis.[2] At All Out, Taylor challenged Samoa Joe for the ROH World Television Championship but was unsuccessful.[3]
In February 2024, it was reported that Taylor had signed an exclusive deal with AEW.[4] At Battle Of The Belts X, Taylor challenged Hook in a FTR Rules match but did not win.[5]
