Shawnee /ʃɔːˈn/ is a city in Johnson County, Kansas, United States. In 2020, there were 67,311 people who lived there.[5] It is the 7th largest city in Kansas.

The 2020 census said that there were 67,311 people, 25,631 households, and 18,131 families living in Shawnee. Of the households, 72.2% owned their home and 27.8% rented their home. Children under age 18 lived in 35.0% of the households. Of the people, 78.2% were White, 5.7% were Black, and 3.2% were Asian. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 9.2% of the people.[4][7]
