Sigmaringen is a town in southern Germany, in the state of Baden-Württemberg. It is the capital of the district of Sigmaringen. About 18,000 people live there.
Sigmaringen is on the river Danube.
It is known for its castle Schloss Sigmaringen. It was the capital of the principality of Hohenzollern-Sigmaringen from 1806 to 1849.
