Skyhook (structure)

Skyhook is a proposed structure that is made of a rotating satellite with a very long tether on one side and a smaller tether which has a counterweight to balance the satellite. It was put forward so that the payloads can be transported using a cable cars instead of using rockets to transport the payload[1]
