Slice of life

From Simple English Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Slice of life is a type of story that shows everyday, normal life.[1][2][3][4] In books and movies, it is a way of telling a story that shows a series of events in a character's life. These stories often do not have a clear beginning or end, and they usually do not have a big problem that gets solved. Instead, the problems in slice of life stories are small things that happen to everyone. The characters in a slice of life setting are often ordinary people, such as students or workers.[source?]
