Sonic Boom is a children's TV series produced by Sega of America, Inc. in association with OuiDo! Productions and later Technicolor Animation Productions. It is based on the Sonic the Hedgehog series, taking place in its own continuity and featuring highly altered versions of the main cast. Premiering in November 2014, it is the fifth Sonic TV series and the first to be computer-animated.

[change | change source]- Sonic the Hedgehog (voiced by Roger Craig Smith): A blue male hedgehog as the main character. He can run very fast and is leader of Team Sonic.
- Miles "Tails" Prower (voiced by Colleen O'Shaughnessey): A 2-tailed yellow male fox who is Sonic's best friend. He can build highly-complex machines due to being very smart.
- Knuckles the Echidna (voiced by Travis Willingham): A large, red, male echidna from Angel Island. He is very strong, but he isn't very smart.
- Amy Rose (voiced by Cindy Robinson): A pink female hedgehog who uses a large hammer in combat. She has a complicated connection to Sonic, and prefers solutions that don't involve fighting. She's Sonic's girlfriend. She loves ballet dancing and baking.
- Sticks the Badger (voiced by Nika Futterson): An orange and brown female badger who is from the jungle.
- Dr. Eggman (voiced by Mike Pollock): A male egg-shaped mad scientist who's Sonic's enemy. He is as intelligent as Tails is, and creates robots to fight Team Sonic with.
