Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is an upcoming American-Japanese movie based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series from Sega. It is the sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022).

The movie will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. It will release on December 20, 2024 in theaters.

Shadow the Hedgehog, a black-and-red anthropomorphic hedgehog created in a secret government project, is set to appear in this movie.

Krysten Ritter, Sofia Pernas, Cristo Fernández, James Wolk, and Jorma Taccone were cast in unrevealed roles.
