Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is an upcoming American-Japanese movie based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series from Sega. It is the sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022).
The movie will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. It will release on December 20, 2024 in theaters.

- Ben Schwartz as Sonic the Hedgehog: A blue anthropomorphic hedgehog who can run at high speeds.
- Colleen O'Shaughnessey as Miles "Tails" Prower: A yellow-orange anthropomorphic fox who has two tails he can fly with.
- Idris Elba as Knuckles the Echidna: A super strong and serious red anthropomorphic echidna.
- James Marsden as Tom Wachowski: The sherif of Green Hills, Montana and Sonic's father-figure.
- Tika Sumpter as Maddie Wachowski: Tom's veterinarian wife and Sonic's mother figure.
- Jim Carrey as Doctor Robotnik: A mad scientist who is Sonic's archenemy.
- Lee Majdoub as Agent Stone: Robotnik's assistant.
- Tom Butler as Commander Sam Walters: The former Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff now leading the Guardian Units of Nations (G.U.N.).
- Alyla Browne as Maria: A young girl.
Shadow the Hedgehog, a black-and-red anthropomorphic hedgehog created in a secret government project, is set to appear in this movie.
Krysten Ritter, Sofia Pernas, Cristo Fernández, James Wolk, and Jorma Taccone were cast in unrevealed roles.
