Sophia D. King (born February 14, 1966)[1] is an American politician. In 2016, she became a member of Chicago City Council. She is a member and chair of the City Council's Progressive Reform Caucus.[2] In August 2022, King announced she would be running for Mayor of Chicago in the 2023 election.[3]
