South Australia men's cricket team

The South Australia men's cricket team[1] is based at Adelaide in South Australia. It has been active since 1887. The team is organised by the South Australian Cricket Association. South Australia has first-class status, and has competed in the Sheffield Shield since 1892–93.[2] They have won the trophy 14 times, most recently in 2024–25. They also won the Dean Jones Trophy in 2024–25. Their home ground is the Adelaide Oval. South Australia's most famous players are Don Bradman and Gary Sobers.
