Spreeinsel

The Spreeinsel is between Spree and Spreekanal in the Berlin Mitte. It has three parts.[1]

Middle — Berlin City Cock was there until 1950, it was rebuilt in 2021 for the Humboldt Forum

Southern — Fischer Island

Northern — it was used for gardens till the 19th century, then many museums were built there. Today is known as the Northern Museum Island and has been a World Heritage Site of UNESCO since 1999.
