Stéphane Caillat

Stéphane Caillat (1928 – 11 September 2020) was a French composer and conductor of orchestras and choirs.[1] He was born in Lyon, France.

In 1954, he founded the choir named after him, Stéphane Caillat. In 1979, he founded the Centre d'études polyphoniques et chorales de Paris Île-de-France, which he directed for ten years. He also produced music programs for France Musique during the 1980s.

Caillat died in Paris on 11 September 2020, aged 92.[1]
