Stanislav Eduardovich Bogdanovich (Ukrainian: Станіслав Едуардович Богданович; 4 February 1993 – 5 March 2020) was a Ukrainian chess player. He was born in Odessa. He was awarded the title of International Master in 2009, and Grandmaster in 2017. He was notably Ukrainian under-18 champion and the Champion of Odessa. In early March 2020, shortly before his death, he played in an online chess match for Russia against Ukraine.
Bogdanovich was dating fellow chess player Alexandra Vernigora at the time of his death. On 5 March 2020, Bogdanovich was found dead alongside his girlfriend in a Moscow apartment. Police linked their deaths to an overdose of nitrous oxide.
