Star Wars: The Clone Wars (movie)

Star Wars: The Clone Wars is a 2008 feature length computer animated science fiction movie. It has the same title as the television series by Lucasfilm and Lucasfilm Animation and was released by Warner Bros. Pictures. The movie takes place as the start of the television series.[1] It was released on August 10, 2008.[2] Star Wars: The Clone Wars was the first animated movie in the franchise. It was the first Star Wars movie to not be released by 20th Century Fox. Star Wars: The Clone Wars was the final Star Wars movie released before Disney's ownership of the franchise.

The movie takes place three months after the battle of Geonosis and outbreak of the Clone Wars. Anakin Skywalker must take on a Padawan called "Ahsoka Tano".[3] They must save the hulett from the "Confederacy Systems of Independence" with his master Obi-Wan Kenobi.
