Steal a Brainrot is a multiplayer video game released on May 15, 2025 on Roblox. It was developed by SpyderSammy, and owned by DoBig Studios. It is based on Italian brainrot, an internet meme. The goal of the game is to get Brainrots, mainly by stealing them from other players.

Steal a Brainrot is the second Roblox game to have reach 20 million players at once, the first being Grow a Garden.[1] The game became popular on social media, where users have shared ideas and popular videos of children getting upset over losing their Brainrots.[2]

Gameplay

[change | change source]

In the game, players have to get Brainrots, characters that are based on the Internet meme Italian brainrot. Brainrots give players in-game money over time.[3] In order to get these Brainrots, users can buy Brainrots from a red conveyor belt in the middle of the game. Users can also steal a Brainrot from other players.[4][2][5] Brainrots are stored in bases which have 8 spaces to hold characters.[5]
