Steinsel (Luxembourgish: Steesel) is a commune in Luxembourg. It is part of the canton of Luxembourg.

As of 2019, 5,408 people live here.

Since 25 July 2019 Steinsel holds Luxembourg’s national heat record of 40.8 °C (105.4 °F).[1]
