Stephan James (born December 16, 1993) is a Canadian actor. He is known for playing track and field sprinter Jesse Owens in the 2016 movie Race. He also played John Lewis in the 2014 drama Selma.
He also stars as Walter Cruz in the Amazon series Homecoming, for which he received a Golden Globe Award nomination.[1] He also played Julian Williams on the Canadian teen drama Degrassi: The Next Generation.
