Stephen Henry "Steve" Grimes (November 17, 1927 – September 10, 2021) was an American lawyer and politician. He was a justice of the Florida Supreme Court from 1987 to 1996. He was Chief Justice from 1994 until 1996. Grimes was born in Peoria, Illinois. Grimes was appointed to the Florida Second District Court of Appeal in October 1973. He was chief judge from 1978 until 1980.
Grimes died on September 10, 2021 at the age of 97.[1]
