Steven Bauer (born Esteban Ernesto Echevarría Samson; December 2, 1956) is a Cuban-born American actor. He is probably best known for his role as Cuban drug lord Manny Ribera in the 1983 crime drama movie Scarface.[1] His work on television includes shows such as ¿Qué Pasa, USA? (1977–1980), Breaking Bad (2011), Better Call Saul (2017; 2020) and Ray Donovan (2013–2020).

Bauer was born in Havana. His family moved to the United States on July 4, 1960. He grew up using the name Steven, an English form of his given name, Esteban. He has been married four times, each ending in divorce. His first wife was actress Melanie Griffith. He has two children.
