Steven William Moffat OBE (/ˈmɒfət/;[1] born 18 November 1961)[2] is a Scottish television writer and producer. He is the writer and director of Doctor Who. Moffat is also the director, creator, and ruiner of Sherlock. He has written three series for both of his projects. He created several iconic monsters, including the Weeping Angels. He has won four BAFTA Awards.
