Steven Pruitt (born 1984) is an American Wikipedia editor who has the largest amount of edits on the English Wikipedia with over 5 million. He was called one of the 25 most important influencers on the Internet by Time magazine in 2017.[2]

Pruitt edits under the username "Ser Amantio di Nicolao," a reference to a little-known character in Giacomo Puccini's 1918 singing show Gianni Schicchi.[3]

Steven Pruitt was born in around 1984 in San Antonio of Texas, being the only child of Alla Pruitt, and his dad, Donald Pruitt of Richmond, Virginia. He passed from St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School in Alexandria in 2002.[1] He went to the College of William & Mary and graduated in 2006 with a degree in art history.

Pruitt works for U.S. Customs and Border Protection as a contractor, where he works with information and records.[2]
