Strawberry and Chocolate (Spanish: Fresa y chocolate) is a 1993 Cuban Meixcan comedy drama movie directed by Tomás Gutiérrez Alea and Juan Carlos Tabío and is based on the 1990 short story The Wolf, The Forest and the New Man by Senel Paz. It stars Jorge Perugorría, Vladimir Cruz, Mirta Ibarra, Francisco Gattorno and was distributed by Miramax Films. It was nominated for an Academy Award in 1995.
