Stuart Woods (January 9, 1938 – July 22, 2022) was an American novelist.[1] He was known best for his first novel Chiefs and his series of novels about the Stone Barrington character.

Woods died on July 22, 2022 in Washington, Connecticut at the age of 84.[2]
