Sudarshana chakra (sanskrit: सुधऱशऩ चकृ) is a weapon in the shape of a disc which is considered as a weapon used by Lord vishnu, one among the TRIMURTI. According to Hindu mythology this weapon was used to cut heads of demons . Using this weapon vishnu chopped Ketu's head who cheated and drunk the immortal honey known as AMRITA in puranas. Sudarshana chakra has a small hole in the centre through god vishnu entered his forefinger. It also has spikes around it which is too sharp. it is made of gold. It was the first weapon depicted in puranas which can be controlled by mind.
