Phoebe Nora Mary Prince (November 24, 1994 - January 14, 2010) was a British-Irish student at an American high school. Her suicide caused the prosecution of 6 teenagers. The teenagers were charged for violating civil rights.[1] This led to stricter anti-bullying legislation in Massachusetts.[2]
