"Sultans of Swing" is a 1978 debut single by British rock band Dire Straits and is the leading single from their debut studio album Dire Straits. It went to the top 5 in the United States, South Africa and Canada, top 10 in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Australia, number 20 in Germany, number 12 in New Zealand and number 11 in the Netherlands.
