Sunflower program
The Sunflower program ( the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower) is a program to help people with disabilities that are not normally visible.[1] [2] The program was begun in 2016.[1] The people running the program sell a lanyard (a card on a cord that can be worn around the neck) and a separate card. Both cards have a picture of a Sunflower. [3] Instead of the lanyard, a person with a hidden disability can wear a sunflower wristband or a sunflower pin. [4]That shows that the person with the card has a disability that is not visible. Some places, like some airports, recognize this program and provide appropriate help.
