Superman is a classic superhero movie serial based on the DC Comics character Superman. It was produced by Columbia Pictures and released in 15 chapters from 1948 to 1949. The serial starred Kirk Alyn as Clark Kent/Superman and Noel Neill as Lois Lane. It is notable for being one of the earliest movie adaptations of Superman and helped popularize the character in popular culture.
