Syahrul

Syahrul (August 30, 1960 – April 28, 2020) was an Indonesian politician, teacher, and member of the Great Indonesia Movement Party. He was the Mayor of Tanjung Pinang, and capital and second largest city in the Riau Islands, from September 21, 2018, until his death on April 28, 2020. He was Deputy Mayor of Tanjung Pinang from 2013 to 2018.[1]

Syahrul died in April 2020 from COVID-19, aged 59.[2]
