Takeshi Iwaya (岩屋 毅, Iwaya Takeshi; born August 24, 1957) is a Japanese politician who was the Minister for Foreign Affairs from 2024 until 2025. He is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party. He has been a member of the House of Representatives since 2000.

Iwaya was the Minister of Defense from 2 October 2018 to 11 September 2019.

In September 2024, incoming Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba picked Iwaya as the next Foreign Minister, replacing Yōko Kamikawa.[1]
