Talk:2004 Indian Ocean earthquake and tsunami

Because of the severity and impact of the event this article is trying to talk about (very poorly.. needs lots of work), I feel that it does warrant its own article seperate from the tsunami article. That being said, the cause certainly needs to be added as the tsumani itself is an after effect of one of the largest and (eventually, because of the tsunami) deadliest earthquakes in modern time. I have moved the article to a name more in keeping with the overall scope of the story (as well as matching the en:wiki article covering it) -- Creol(talk) 06:32, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

actually, I reread the article and many parts were more about what a tsunami was and not what this tsunami was, so I split the general information out and merged it into the tsunami article and added info here about the earthquake and the effects of the tsunami to flesh it out a little more.
