Redirect ?[change source]

A new editor who came from enwiki just changed this page to be a redirect. A reason was given in the edit summary, but I would like to ask others if this reason can be agreed. MathXplore (talk) 11:32, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Comment I've also redirected 1371, 839, 390s, and 1232 for much of the same reason. I know I am new and I don't know much but I personally don't see the point in keeping an article about a year which contains exactly 1 event and the year before and the year after haven't got an article. Wouldn't it be easier to compile all of what we've got into the articles about the decade/Century and once it is long enough then we can consider splitting it. Articles that are too short and has duplicate content with others can be redirected to larger relevant pages, but I never seen years redirected to decades or centuries. This is my motivation to question the changes. Since I already got one answer, I'll wait comments from others. MathXplore (talk) 12:15, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If we'd like a proper discussion then it is probably best putting it on or sharing it on Wikipedia:Simple talk. Otherwise, this isn't going to get any comments. --Ferien (talk) 16:18, 19 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Ferien I agree, I want it to be clear whether or whether not these redirects are good. Now how do we do that? N1TH Music (talk) 18:19, 21 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
