The Afghanistan page have changed with very important historic information missing?

I would like other editors to comment and advise about whom and how the Afghanistan previous information was deleted? This new page gives no accurate current or historic info? I suggest wiki re upload old page and allow editing with credentials. Your thoughts?

I don't clearly understand what you mean but can you look into the page history and show us what information was removed? Or if it is missing tell us what it is missing. And the recent changes you did had some grammer and other error if I'm correct. Need to differentiate between the territory, and possible states claiming it?[change source]

We might need to make a difference between the territory, which is the same probably since the end of the Sencond World War, or its independence from Great Britain (in the 1960s, I think), and different political entities ("states/governments") ruling over it: Among them:

The Taliban which hold most of the territory, in Q3 2021, had an islamic emirate there from 1996-2001 or so. Likely they will erect something very similar in 2021. There probably is an (absolute?) monarch, who is a high cleric, and who appoints different ministers of the government.
In contrast: Between the early 2000s (2004 I think) and 2021, there was an Islamic republic; its members were elected by the people of Afghanistan, and likely there was a separation of powers (i.e. not an absolute moarchy). I also think that the people in the government had nothing to do with religious powers.

Given that the new "Emirate" has no diplomatic recognition, and the old "Islamic Republic" likely doesn't have much power any more, I think it would be a good idea to have separate articles for these governments, and remove the redirects to Afghanistan.--Eptalon (talk) 14:41, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Cabinet of Afghanistan - the government (or executive branch). In August 2021, some of the new ministers started work in the so-called "Taliban government".
