The title would be much better if it began with So-Called

The section about illegal Armenian activity (violence towards Turks and other Muslims) in World War I is valid and quotes three sources, which is almost one quarter of all the citations. It makes perfect sense to include relevant information on the matter as contained in Turkish villages were looted and burned down, and the Armenian gangs and terrorists were constantly attacking the Ottoman Army, and destroying the Turks' ability to fight the Russians, which shows both sides of the medallion in events leading up to the mass deportation.

Since some of my earlier sources were not necessarily academic, I have removed all of them and the paragraph. I have, however, added a new section with proper academic citation instead.

Can you try to simplify it a bit further? You've obviously copied this from elsewhere, and quotes won't do our readership much good, unless they're in basic English. I think it also needs to be trimmed, massively. Two paragraphs on the opinion of one scholar (especially one who takes up a position contrary to the mainstream) is excessive and undue. There are obviously many scholars with opinions on this event, and many critics of Lewy's opinions - so I think a small paragraph will suffice for this single individual.
