@User:Infogapp1: You reverted my edit and wrote on my discussion page that "advertising and using Wikipedia to promote a product or point of view is discouraged". I agree with that principle, but what am I advertising or promoting? Did I add a link to my blog or affiliate website? Did I promote my point of view? Of course not. According to Wikipedia Grammar Girl's Quick and Dirty Tips for Better Writing is a popular and highly respected educational podcast. Of course Mignon Fogarty makes some money from your [her] website, but who does not - https://www.oxfordlearnersdictionaries.com/, https://dictionary.cambridge.org/ or https://www.ldoceonline.com/ ? They all make money, but nobody questions them as [are] valid sources for Wikipedia articles, and nobody questions it. So please, restore my version. 85.193.228.103 (talk) 22:02, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

These guidelines may help: Wikipedia:Reliable sources and EN:Wikipedia:Reliable sources--Infogapp1 (talk) 23:56, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I've been editing Wikipedia for 15 years and now, all of a sudden, you suggest that I know nothing about editing Wikipedia articles? Mignon Fogarty happens to be one of the most respected grammar experts, and even Wikipedia itself does not question that - see the links that I have provided. I know the guidelines you are sending me to, but they contain many rules. Could you, please, be more specific and show me the rule violated by my source? 85.193.228.103 (talk) 12:08, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
