Byzantine Empire and her Italian territories[change source]

"These gains did not last however. More Germans came and eventually Italy and Rome was lost again."

Actually Rome was lost when the pope took ownership of it in 752.

The last piece of Italian territoy was lost in 1070, thanks to the Normanns.

This did not last forever i agree but longer than what the sentence above seems to mean.
