Clarity of the Metaphor (to describe Chelation)[change source]

I'm thinking that gobbledygook isn't good for a Simple English wiki article... My meaning is thus (for someone to write a clearer metaphor): that chemical reactions are not like a jigsaw arrangement to the lay-minded ... Insofar as covalent/ionic-bonding (and Radicals)-- they can be thought of an 'attraction' between themselves-- almost magnetic-- forming, in a cohesive manner, a substance/compound (like 'Salt' - NaCl [mentioned in the article]). The grammar used here is also uselessly complicated here in this article, methinks.

I wouldn't be able to word it right, but I believe the jigsaw metaphor isn't so simple in many regards. 24.102.148.14 (talk) 03:53, 13 October 2013 (UTC) [L. Tischmann][reply]
