This article is misleading and incorrect in many ways. The term Chittagonian people can at best be applied to people speaking the Chittagonian language, which are NOT the ethnic groups living in hills, but the ethnic Bengalis living in the flatland regions of Chittagong and Cox's Bazar District. Rather, the article should be moved to an appropriate title (e.g., Chittagong hill tracts people), but even that will be misleading, since there are 10-20 different ethnic groups living in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

The speculation about the hill-dweller ethnic groups bringing Bangladesh closer to ASEAN is also pure figment of imagination. --Ragib (talk) 05:06, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]
