Origin[change source]

Explanation on origin is mostly nonsense. True is origin probably north of Alps (usually called Central Europe), first appearance as Christmas tree noted in Strasbourg (today France). Origin is very religious, it is a representation of the Tree of Paradise from where the original sin occurred which is healed in the coming of Christ.
