This article seems to be about classical mechanics. There is already an article on that. Classical physics involves several fields that should be covered in the classical physics article, e.g., thermodynamics, electricity and electronics, optics, etc., so I think your second suggestion is the one that should be followed.Patrick0Moran (talk) 22:00, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Classical physics is a broader term and this article is necessary. As you suggest, it should be changed so the branches of classical physics are made clear. Thrasymedes (talk) 12:32, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
