The Confederate States of America were much more as said in the article. This article is offensive to the people of the former CSA States and reports only the point of view of Yankees.
Article needs overall review.[change source]
This article needs an overall review. We currently have a lisk to "Herrenvolk republicanisn" (which in turn wants me to create an article on "Herrenvolk democrary". The EnWP article basially defines this as the "rule by the majority ethnic group". Most likely, this definition is wrong; In the case of colonialism, the "rulers" were rarely the majority. While in the CSA, free white people may have been the majority, this is not the case for South Africa (cited in the EnWP article), and possibly other colonies. In Nabibia (Deutsch-südwestAfrika, essentially),there were 200.000 people, roughly 13.000 of them were German. The topic is controversial, and the risk of introducing inapporpriate language (which may be seen as racist) is big.
