I did a few edits yesterday; The article needs a serious copyediting, preferably by someone who knows Portuguese well (native Portuguese; very good in English, or the other way around). In general, sentences are too long, sometimes there are "stylistic mishaps". I don't blame it on the editors, the article is 101k long, probably one of the longest we have overall. Getting this to VGA will probably need the full-time attention of a few people. --Eptalon (talk) 09:28, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, i'm not fluent in english, and i speak a little portuguese. I had helped to write the article, translating a bit of the portuguese, and changing a bit of english wikipedia. I would like to help - and, therefore, you need to guide me how can i do it. I moved to Brazil a few years and now live in Curitiba - city that i love, and want to create a good article, as this wonderful city deserves! Thanks and sorry for my bad English! I did a few edits just a few minutes ago; some rewording and copyediting. I'll help out as much as I can in making this article more understandable. I just hope I didn't change the meaning of the sentences I reworded. — Tumthe3 (talk) 00:38, 2 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

There's a fair bit of work to be done here - current readability figures are

Numbers aren't everything, but they are a measure. I'll help where I can. Peterdownunder (talk) 01:22, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"History"[change source]

History: Curitiba used to be a forest once populated by the indigenous tribe Tingüi. During the 16th century, Europeans began to go to war with this tribe. Serious, it's a joke? So, simple = poor?! 200.175.1.45 (talk) 04:34, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
