Source falsification

The only source used in the article is an academic text on how the Turkish Cypriots and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) are "under-represented" in the Cypriot question and tries to tell people the unjustices they are facing. And this "encyclopedia article" uses that source to claim that the TRNC is a puppet state! Should I laugh or cry? We Turks are sick and tired of seeing how the historical facts are being distorted. I cannot understand how some people in the world may believe that the Island of Cyprus was divided in 1974. Why did we have the UN force in Cyprus since 10 years before then? Were they making holidays on the sunny island? Please learn about the Bloody Christmas of 1963 which ended the partnership republic on the Island of Cyprus and divided the country 10 and a half years before the Turkish intervention. It is easy, several Wikipedias have the article. BTW I am adding a postal stamp here so that you may see that the Turks on the North had their own public services and partial administration from the very aftermath of the Bloody Christmas pogrom and they had their autonomous administration much before the TRNC was declared in 1983. --E4024 (talk) 22:57, 2 May 2021 (UTC)

This means if you think this article is inaccurate, and you have better sources, then please add them. As to th question at hand: I know that the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus is currently only recognised by Turkey; I dnt know any details (I am sure I could find some if I spent half a day to a day in a library). So if you think you can create a balanced article, please go ahead. Note however, that we have blocked (and banned) editors who consistently violate this rule, and try to push one particular point of view. I wil lalso put a link to what is a reliabl source; in general, social media is not considred reliable. In short: Please go ahead, and fix the article, if you think it is unbiased.
