I understood the article equivalent to this on en.wikipedia, but I'm looking for a simple English version of the page for "Diffie-Hellman assumption" from that wiki. Calculus is too abstract for me.

Use Paint Mixing Analogy

Using addition instead of modular exponentiation is misleading because it's easy to undo addition. If paint mixing is used instead it's easy to understand why reversing the paint mixing is difficult.
