This text should by totaly revised. My English is not good enough to do this job! - The text gives a very subjectiv picture of direct democracy (mixes it whith anarchisme and basic democracy) --> I could recommend the German version of this text. Switzerland is an example of a functioning direct democracy since more than 150 years! DidiWeidmann (talk) 15:06, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe you're english isn't good enough (though it seams perfectly fine to me!) but not many of us speak much german (except Eptalon, Barras and TLOB) so the german article can't be of much help ;). Yotcmdr =talk to the commander= 15:33, 25 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it is true that Switzerland has direct democracy. It's only a passing mention in the text, and not supported by any sources. I am going to change it unless someone can put references to evidence. Macdonald-ross (talk) 07:17, 19 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
