  • Article was too pollyanna-ish: science needs to be based on facts, not surmises. There is no evidence of life on Earth before c. 3.7 billion years ago. This is an encyclopedia, which limits the kind of speculation which we might make as individuals. In any event, every positive statement needs a source, and what is said should not be inflated.
