Changes[change source]

I see that the Ols_n Biography has been removed as well as others including the Britannica as far as I can see. This includes a change of stroke as the cause of her death to heart attack. Since there are other discrepancies in sources (years of things in the late teens), we should be careful here and either be sure we have an authoritative source or give the reader fair warning. Britannica was removed due to being a tertiary source cited for specific facts. Hively was converted from 'Further reading' to source citations. It left primarily Olson and, since he was cited by a number of other sources used, a single listing in this section didn't seem necessary. But if you want, go ahead and restore the Further reading section with his entry. You can, if you like, verify the source given for her death by Bright's disease. Google Books has a preview. I just looked up p. 372 and found the following: "Elinor Wylie died suddenly of Bright's disease on December 16, 1928, on the very day she finished her last volume of poems, Angels and Earthly Creatures. Her novels and many of her poems dramatize the sexual conflict in fiction and poetry that Wylie felt throughout her life in her three marriages." The book meets the all the criteria of a reliable, third-party source and the publisher (Greenwood press, also known as: Greenwood publishing) is known as a reputable publisher with a reputation for fact-checking and accuracy. However, if you find other equally reliable third-party sources with a different cause or causes of death, we could simply say she died in New York City. BTW, the general term 'Bright's disease' is no longer used, but it was at the time of her death. I could not find an obituary which might have shed some light on this. If you intend to look further, I'd be interested in anything you find, if only out of curiosity. Rus793 (talk) 02:22, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone add a picture? There are a number of pictures that come up in an itnernet search, including one at the English Wik. site. Kdammers (talk) 18:52, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
